Just think of it as someone swatting your arrow back at your face, baseball style. On a good day you can actually hit packets back, at least in the general direction.

I've had packets come back at me when blocked by a weapon and hit me square on the torso...so it is definately possible. Hilarious, too.

Question though, could I hypothetically use a Skill Store Parry with a Spell Parry to call a Spell Parry?

I'm pretty sure you can do that, I don't see why not.
It would be the most expensive Spell Shield ever though.
(Since you can't spell parry for someone else, and skill stores are one shot only.)
