Safety in the Heat!

Hey everyone, this coming weekend it's going to be ridiculously hot. According to weather it's going to be 95 with real feal of 105. With that said as a safety marshal and person who cares about people, I am calling a NO ARMOR day for this weekend. This is for everyones safety and to make sure we are all having fun comfortably.

With that said heat stroke is a serious thing. With the weather the way it is here are some symptoms of heat stroke:

High Body Temperature. A core body temperature of 104 F (40 C) or higher is the main sign of heatstroke.

Altered Mental State Or Behavior. Confusion, agitation, slurred speech, irritability, delirium, and seizures

Alteration In Sweating. In heatstroke brought on by hot weather, your skin will feel hot and dry to the touch. However, in heatstroke brought on by strenuous exercise, your skin may feel dry or slightly moist.

Nausea And Vomiting. You may feel sick to your stomach or vomit.

Flushed Skin. Your skin may turn red as your body temperature increases.

Rapid Breathing. Your breathing may become rapid and shallow.

Racing Heart Rate. Your pulse may significantly increase because heat stress places a tremendous burden on your heart to help cool your body.

HEADACHE. Your head may throb.

Please If you feel any of these symptoms or see anyone with these alert your nearest medical marshal or plot member and get that person or yourself some water to cool off.

Thank you everyone and see you all in a few days!
