Scars

Does anyone have any recommendations/suggestions for how to place a scar on yourself (without teh cutting). Short of using makeup to draw one on, does anyone have any recommendations on how to make one. I would like to place a temporary scar on my face. Thanks!

Scar putty. Most costume places will have it. I think it's wax based. It goes on your skin, then scrunches up, pulling your skin into that 'scared' look.

I think Matt's referring to liquid collodion (or, if he ain't, he should be... ).

This is an old old makup trick: rubber cement. Brush it on where you want the scar. Let it dry completely about 1-2 minutes). Press the skin together and it holds. If you need, apply a little light flesh coloration on the scar.

depending on the scar, it would take different things.

For burns, you can go really cheap with the liquid latex and oatmeal. Paint the part with LL, sprinkle on the oatmeal, let dry, color to suit...
