Rumors have been heard that the Barony of Lovell has recently been under attack by strange creatures using military tactics. Contact has been cutoff and no one knows what has been happening. The Silverblades in Foxbridge have been called away to investigate.
Meanwhile, travelers bring stories of a strange glowing Elven man appearing and disappearing all over Vinath County, and in some areas of the Duchy of Barrowhaven. In all of the stories the Elf is apparently angry and reacts badly when he is not recognized. Often he disappears after summoning strange black figures with glowing symbols on their heads that attack any nearby and then leave.
At times there are also faint rumblings around the outskirts of Foxbridge, the ground seems to vibrate faintly underfoot, then falls silent.
