Kitchen Staff Duties

PREGAME ​

Master of Inventory ​

• Responsible for the holding and transportation of Alliance Chicago's dry kitchen inventory(spices, flours, canned goods, etc) in-between and to events.
• Must have reliable transportation and plan to be a regular participant in the upcoming season events.
• The ability to arrive on site early before lay-on would be preferred. (Around 4-6pm on the first day of the event.)
• A behind-the-scenes asset, the Master of Inventory is content to hoard the goods of the Chapter safely and secure from the elements in between our adventures. They tend to be organized and dependable, as without their dutiful storage and delivery our meals would taste quite bland and boring.

Ingredients Courier​

• Responsible for procuring and delivering fresh ingredients (produce, meat, dairy, etc) to events, based on lists provided by the Head of Kitchen (Jordan).
• Must have reliable transportation and plan to be a regular participant in the upcoming season events.
• Must be able to arrive on site early before lay-on. (Around 4-6pm the first day of the event.)
• Must be willing to coordinate with the HoK for any replacement items or with any issues during shopping.
• Ingredients Couriers tend to be level-headed, organized, and reliable. They truly are an unsung hero of our adventures; without them, there would be no food!

DURING GAME​

Preparation Infantry​

• Responsible for following the HoK's instructions on prepping items necessary for food service. These tasks would include but are not limited to; chopping vegetables, preparing raw meat for marinades, light assembly for ready-to-eat food, etc.
• Professional or advanced domestic kitchen experience is highly preferred.
• A member of the Prep Infantry should be open to suggestion and focused. They are an essential asset to providing meals on time to make sure that adventurers aren't left with empty stomachs!

Tidy Sprites​

• Assist in the cleaning of the kitchen and communal tavern spaces upon request. Such tasks include but are not limited to; dish washing, dish collecting, garbage collection, garbage disposal, table wipe downs, general sanitary maintenance, etc.
• Must pay attention to detail and be an open communicator.
• Tidy Sprites are fickle and spontaneous helpers, but also the most coveted. They tend to be energetic and detail-oriented, utilizing these skills to make our tavern sparkle!

COMPENSATION​

All kitchen staff receive a monthly salary of 350 Goblin Stamps and a $20 discount off all events​

Logistics is seeking an individual who possesses the capability to ensure a smooth and seamless experience for our players at every turn.

Duties:

• Oversee the check-in process prior to events and at the mid-event re-mem.
• Manage any necessary cash transactions, and distribute crafting tags with accuracy and efficiency.
• Meet with the team in advance of events to review pre-registration production, ensuring that all preparations are in place for a successful event.
• The ideal candidates will possess a keen eye for detail, and a passion for organization. Join us and be a vital part of our quest to provide the best Larp experience!

To better prepare the influx of recent new players, we are seeking an additional New Player Rep.
As the ambassadors of the game, they must be ready to attend to the needs and curiosities of the fledgling adventurers who have joined our ranks.

Duties:

• Answering inquiries and offering guidance via social media channels such as Facebook and Discord.
• In-game, they shall offer a helping hand to these new players, answering questions and lending support in combat situations.
• Possess an unwavering knowledge of the rules, armed with a confident understanding of the mechanics of the game.
• Exude a warm and affable demeanor, always ready to engage in conversation and put others at ease.
• Be a semi-regular attendee at events, playing an active role in the thriving community of players.

COMPENSATION
All New Player Reps receive a monthly salary of 100 Goblin Stamps
