These topics are neither acknowledged nor permitted in any capacity, whether in-game or out-of-game.
In-Game Restrictions:
The following themes are expressly forbidden from being incorporated into any character's backstory, experiences, or personal plotlines: sexual assault, sexual abuse, sexual harassment, domestic violence, and r***. Alliance Virginia will not create or endorse any plots or storylines that include these topics.
Out-of-Game Conduct:
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards all forms of sexual harassment. According to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), sexual harassment includes unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and any other verbal or physical harassment of a sexual nature. Our community spaces are for gameplay, and should not be used as a venue for unwelcome advances or dating attempts.
Consent:
Consent must always be obtained before engaging in any physical contact, even for something as simple as a touch on the shoulder. Consent may be withdrawn at any time, and this must be respected without exception.
