Hey, does anybody know of a good website on how to make a NERO shield? I've always played a straight caster, so I've never had to make one before, and I want to be sure that it turns out NERO-safe.
I dont know of a site, but personally, I use two layers of inch thick pink insulation foam, edged with closed cell, coated in duct tape http://www.twilightarmory.com/NEROshields.htm has some good templates if your not looking for too exotic a shape, and dont want to try calculate the volume and whatnot
As for grips, well, you can use almost anything. Affix onto shield with large washers and long screws (preferably without threading all the way down them so as to not chew through the foam as much)
