Sir Amaranthus Hosting Dessert Competition

Ladies and Gentleman,

I shall be hosting a competition of dessert items to be held during the Ducal Tournament in Flameheart Keep. This event shall have the following rules:

There shall be a 1 gold crown entry fee.

All desserts must be made either in advance of the gather or in your own space. To be fair to all competitors and to ensure a timely Feast, competitors will not be allowed to use the keep's kitchens for preparation. They MAY use them for reheating but only AFTER all Feast preparation is complete.

Desserts shall be judged on taste and presentation. All rightful Nobility are invited to serve as a judge. Nobles that accept this will remain impartial and show no favors to their court members, by their Honor. I shall be one such judge.

Desserts should have enough quantity to be served to the whole town after the Feast. You don't have to prepare enough for 50 people, but it should be more then a single serving.

No alchemy may be used. Poisoned dishes of any kind will be disqualified.

Prizes:
First Place: 1/2 the collected entry fees and an enchanted item. Item to be determined, but I promise to make it something worthwhile.

Second Place: A custom dinner of your choosing at the next gather you are in attendance for to be prepared by myself.

Third Place: Free entry in the following month's "Special Dinner" raffle.

Feel free to ask questions.

I am not Rightful Nobility, but I have much love of food and have no Court for to show favourites! I am present myself as option for Impartial Judge, if not enough nobility accept offer. I have very fancy belt, if that helps.

With obvious desire to have reason for to eat many desserts,
~Irina Belwing Maitane

Why not! But you have to wear the fanciest belt you have.

Sir Amaranthus Landcharmer

Irina got a lot of fancy belts. She da fanciest belt of all. I nominate Irina for Knight of Desserts.

Angrag

Sir Landcharmer,

I shall happily donate one of the ten pounds of toffee I have prepared for your competition.
(It is so heavy. Have you ever carried ten pounds of toffee anywhere? I shall be a mass of muscle by the time I at last arrive in R'Kura!)
One small inquiry, however: as the toffee is chocolate-coated, I have some concern for its ah, solid state. Will there be any cooling chests of any sort to which I may have access? It need not be for all the toffee, but if you have space enough for a pound or two (so heavy!) I would be most grateful. If you cannot afford the room, I shall find other arrangements.

Regardless, you may expect my entry and your gold entrance fee upon my arrival.

-V

Additionally: Irina, if you need an exceptionally luxurious belt, do not hesitate to alert me of your need. I am certain I can conjure something appropriately dazzling.

I can most likely find a little space for your toffee in the ice box. Barring that I do usually have a few ice chests that sit empty after I arrive in town. Your welcome to use one of them but you'll need to supply your own ice.
