Friends and Adventurers,
Recently the Conflux City has been experiencing some pretty weird and scary stuff over the last month. It all started when this weird fog rolled in. At first we thought it was just a new weather pattern, but then people started seeing stuff in the mist. Things with like too many eyes and mouths and stuff.Thats when people started going missing. We have found the remains of bodies but things aren't looking good. There have also been sightings of a dancing warrior in golden armor that melds into the darkness itself, and a squid faced thing that has been seen sucking the brains out of its victims.There have also been a few times when missing people have shown back up, but like all different. They sometimes attack people too, people that are their friends and family.
We have established a curfew for the populace and urge the kobolds of the city to arm themselves but stay indoors. Obviously the curfew won't apply to the adventurers, be be warned, nighttime in the Conflux City is not safe. Luckily, the attacks only seem to happen at night when the fog appears, so we can maybe use the day to safely investigate what is going on.
