Southern Minnesota Magic Item Picks

As we do our yearly review, you may pick from EITHER the 2010 or 2011 list until February 1 of 2011, at which point only the below list will be available for use.

Summary – To further reward those players that make significant contributions to the running of our chapter, and after careful consideration, Southern Minnesota will be offering an LCO magic item purchase list. This system is mostly designed to reward staff members who spend their time helping to run the game forgoing the chance to PC and gather their own loot and rewards.
This system also attempts to recognize those that make large contributions to help keep the game running properly.

How it works – As your gather Goblin Points, you also gather MI picks, these come from NPCing, or donations of significance as described below. The player must provide the rep for labeling and will then be provided with the LCO tag at the same time the cost is logged into our database.

Earning MI Picks – Standard values for NPCing for Picks are as follows. Staff rates are for Monster Marshals, Safety Marshals and Plot Staff Members who are NPCing the entire event.

NPC one (Everyone) – Day – 1 Pick
NPC Week End – 2 Picks
NPC Weekend Staff Rates – 3 Picks

Item Duration - All LCO MI picks will last a base of 2 years, and can have no more then 20 rituals (including a preserve if purchased)

As always the LCO pick list is subject to change at any time for any reason, Many options will often reappear in later seasons, and any item purchased will not be changed.

Correct npcs get 1 pick per day of the event they NPC, but remember you need both picks AND the goblin stamps to purchase an item.

The +0 Damage Aura is listed as having a pick cost of 2/3. Which is correct?

Correct, the DA cost is 2 picks, missed removing the second cost as we offered +1s last year ^.^
 
No more Enchant that gives spells per day?
 
Nope, we are not currently offering that as one of the options this year, you never know what might return in the future however.
 
With the Ritual changes, are there any changes to the above list? (Item Recalls becoming times per day instead of times ever, etc.?)

Elemental Burst is not a weapon-only ritual, so yes.
 
Its also a packet delivered effect, much like a spell.
 
Then can it be put on a weapon and be a weapon delivered attack? (Which is what I thought it was, lol)

You can put an Elemental Burst on a weapon, but it must be activated as a packet-delivered attack. For instance, 1/d Dragon's Breath on a sword lets you activate and packet-deliver a Dragon's Breath, not Spellstrike it, even though the enchantment is on a weapon (unless, of course, it is a 1/d Spellstrike Dragon's Breath).
 
Alexander is correct. Even if enchanted onto a weapon, an 'Elemental Burst' ritual will still need to be delivered via a packet attack. By enchanting that weapon however the weapon will be rendered since Elemental Burst is a times/day affect.
 
Once again, has there been any change to the Item Recall offered above?
 
Due to the chance in Item Recall's effect, it's cost has been increased and it has been moved to a scroll only option.
