Specific NPC Roles for Halloween Event: Oct 11-14, 2018

Team Daedalus has some specific needs for NPC roles at the October 11-14, 2018 Halloween event. We'll be using this thread to post announcements as these roles emerge. Please email plot@alliancedenver.com if interested in any roles that are posted here:

"Vibrant Guide"
Action: Roleplay only
Day/time: Saturday daylight, specific time TBD
Duration: 30 minutes onstage time + your time to change into/out of costume
Gender: Character is cis female
Special: Ability to present non-standard hair color preferred, through RL dye, wig, or extensions. No make-up or prosthetics required, however.
Personality: Looking for woman with lively, warm personality. Character is a strong woman, who will be friendly, and kind to the target PCs. Not romantic, sexy, intimidating, or creepy at all. NO public speaking required, just conversation with small group.

No particular knowledge of the Acarthia game world, or game rules, is necessary for this role. A strong roleplayer new to the game, or a visitor from outside Denver may be considered for this role.

Special Encounter! We're running a mod before the start of game which takes place between events, in a location in one of the baronies. We'd love to get 7-10 NPCs to help us out with this -- doesn't matter if you're a full-time PC or NPC later in the event.

This mod derives from BGA content, and involves one of the favorite story elements of the writers. We're very excited to present this, and we're looking for enthusiastic helpers who want to build the world as a three-dimensional and colorful place. Please let us know if you'll be onsite this early, and interested to assist:

Action: Roleplay for all; melee combat for some.
Day/time: Thursday, onstage 7:00 pm before start of game
Duration: 1 hour onstage time total + your time to change into/out of costume
Gender: Any
Special: Please dress in character costuming different from your PC; any race. Human is fine.
Personality: Varied. Conversation, no public speaking required.

Between 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm, we will also need a small amount of help setting up for this encounter, if you're onsite early. Specifically, I need 2 persons who are very strong for some manual labor to construct something. With 2 people at work, I think it will take no more than 30 minutes of your time IF conditions are bad. Conditions could be easy, and this is a 10 minute project for 1 person.
