Spells and Guilds

Hi! :)

This might not be the right place to post these questions. Sorry if it isn't!

First-- When choosing spells, do they have to be of the same type? For example, if you have 3 level 1 spell slots open, could you make one an earth spell, one a celestial spell, and one a chaos spell? Or do all of them have to be the same? If they have to be the same, are you allowed to have 3 different spell pyramids so you can cast each type of magic if you want?

Second-- Are you allowed to be in more than one guild? For example, both the Healers Guild and the Alchemy Guild? If so, is there a limit to the number of guilds you can join? If you can't be in more than one guild, do you keep the skills you learned while in a guild when you leave it? Because then you could join other guilds to learn more skills. Or is this something that varies by chapter?

Thank you! :)

There are two spell schools Earth/Necromancy/Chaos and Celestial. Eath school tracks its spell pyramids seperately and you cannot take Earth spells in your Celestial column. Chaos/Necromancy spells are simply the reverse of healing spells, you choose if you want to cast the normal or reversed form at the time of casting, no need to memorize seperately.

Each chapter sets their own policies for guilds, and it's all handled in game. :)

Oh, cool! Thanks! :)

So, just to be sure, it is possible to have both Earth/Chaos spells and Celestial spells? A player just needs to build the pyramids separately?

Thanks again! :D

It is possible to have both Earth/Chaos and Celestial spells, but you are correct - a dual-school caster is required to have a separate column/pyramid for each. You also have to designate one of the two as your "Primary" school and the other as your "Secondary" school - it will then cost you more build to purchase spell slots in your secondary school.
