Spifin up the tavern

Last time we treid to spif up the tavern It did not look to spify. It was a very good effort but those walls are too bare. and if we could block out that big opening to the kitchen I think it would look much better. As for the music I brought it it just never got played. and maybe if we could darken it a bit use some flame lamps too. I only have one but I would be willing to let it be used.

I am all for spiffing it up, but as to the lighting, I dont want to go to flame lamps or the such unless we can get the same level of lighting we realisticly would have. One of the problems I had in northwest was that the tavern lights were very dim becouse we only had a few IG type lights. But in a realistic setting, we would have lots and lots of lights if we wanted, with lanterns and torches and ect. OOC. however, we cant have open flames.
Untill we can have open flames (not likly) or have enuf IG looking lights to actally give the illumination we need, I would want to stick to the eletric lights. For safety if nothing else.

Ahem

Speaking of tavern decorations, Val has offered to donate a fake fireplace! Imagine, a "real" fireplace in the tavern! It even blows heat out of it, so we can actually phys-rep warming our hands! The only catch is that someone will need to pick it up from her in Mukiltio and transport it to the event. I'd do it, only I don't got a car.

Are there any noble volunteers?
Also, would someone with reliable transportation be willing to permanently take charge of the fireplace (keep it between games and bring it to events?)

Man, I really wish that there was some kind of storage we could use at Millers for this kind of thing. Aw well.
