Spirit recall and High magic

“Unless otherwise specified, High Magic effects target a character’s Body and will always be on the body part containing the spirit if parts of the body are separated.” P. 148

Do I understand correctly that envoking a spirit recall (whether having it spellecrafted or cast as a ritual) will not only leave all physical items behind, but will also:
a) end any “magic items tags” whose target is a character’s body
b) end any high magic abilities the character has in effect

The ritual text mentions only that items will be left behind. But it also seems to imply that it functions kind of like a resurrection.

Spirit Recall does not result in a loss of Body rituals.

Think of it this way:

When you Resurrect, the Earth Circle is effectively building you a whole new body.

When you Spirit Recall, your living form is transported, but all your stuff is left behind (unless linked or locked). It’s not a new body, but the Recall doesn’t Beam Up your stuff, just you.

The reformation process is similar, but it’s different.

I like to think of it like this: Spirit Recall yeets your spirit, which yoinks your spirit attached items along with... and your Body is attached to the spirit!
