Split from Dreamscape: A map

Just to clarify, is Stillrun simply located south of Crocevia, or is it on its own NERO-Oregon plane of existence?

Stillrun is located south of Astoria, I believe, which is on a continent far from the one on which Crocevia Fatuae is located. It is impractical (some would say impossible) to travel to Astoria/Stillrun without the aid of the mists.

So, just out of curiosity, how do the Seattle characters make planned trips to Stillrun? Is there a permanent porthole somewhere that will take them there?

Generally, there is storylining which takes place getting your charactar from here to there. Rupert and Askara were rifted there and ripped (literally... No, I'm not kidding) through the ground (I frigging hate the fey sometimes) to get home. There are means of travelling through the mists, but it is not always the case that the mists will cooperate and allow you to be taken from here to there without a long detour.

I would say "Find out in game" ;). Ask an experienced traveler between the various lands (such as, hey, Polare!) how they get around and what it takes to do so. It really ends up being an IG thing though -- perhaps Gregor sails his ship through a permanent gate he's found somewhere, while Mykell finds himself in Astoria every time he wakes up after drinking too many Hallucinogens.

I would recommend working to storyline your movement (at least the first few times you travel between chapters) with the plot of the chapter you're going to. This will help you get a feel for how your character does things.

Be aware that the last time Oregon plot was asked for storylining in, they flat refused.

Really??? Wow. :(

This might be something to bring up with them as an area to improve...

Yep... Balyrn goes through the dream realm. Then again, it may have to do with the fact I was a dream incarnation for a year or two. (Hey, it hurt. My dreams are not good ones)

Point taken. I'm just a Junior Plot Member, but I'll talk to the Marcs about it and see if they have any ideas for this.

I don't believe I've ever flatly refused storylining for anyone... however I have indicated to people that they should go to Marc (who was the only other plot member at the time) because he was/is head of plot and wasn't doing logistics.

I'm sorry that you had a bad experience with that Dave. I'm working on making sure that logistics in Oregon is more streamlined so that I can be more available to people for storylining their characters into the chapter.

I wonder if it would be too difficult to work with Seattle-plot to do that? That woud be a lot of work though.

Ya know, now that we have all these new Oregon plot members...maybe that job could be assigned to one person so that it doesn?t bog down the rest of plot.

In fact, I wouldn't mind taking on the job of working with the plot members and players of Seattle, Canada, Northwest, and any other chapters to better storyline the reasons that their characters come to Oregon.
