Much rejoicing, indeed. I've been antsily (sp? even though it's not a word) waiting for this season. The itch is, well, really itchy.
"Anxiously" fits well. "Animatedly" or "Aggitatedly" are both appropriate. "Anticipatorially" if your looking to sound professorial.

I'm very happy to see that the snow's melting off and the temperature is at a comfortable area for me. I like it to be halfway between winter chills and cool summer days. Hopefully the weather will stay that way. I swear I saw the clouds take the shape of a trollface the last time it snowed.
