I got into Medical School!!!!!! Wooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay me! I am awesome!!!!


Ok, now that that is done, it looks like me and JP will be moving into the LA area in July. I got into a special program that allows me to do my clinical rotations back in the Northwest, but that still means we will be down South for the next two years. I will be attending Western University of Health Sciences which is located in Pomona. If anyone has any info on great places to live down there, or places to avoid, we would love the juicy gossip as neither of us are overly familiar with the area.

1st off, congrats.
2nd, if you havent already ask this on the SF board as well, since they are a lot closer than we are and some of them(if i recall) used to live in LA, or at least know someone who did.
 
My associates down here indicate that "Chino" is a decent place to live, but that Pomona is not the best place.

You might want to chat it up with Jenny some time and see what information she has. I can have her call you if you like.

I am not planning on moving any where.

I am very sad that you will both be moving away, I know it is only for 2 years.
I am so glad that you got accepted into the program :)

Dr. Holly no. I'd say Dr. Slice M.D. that has a nice ring to it.

Anyhow congrats Holly, we will miss you and JP for those two years to come.

You are SO going to rock that school. And you will both rock Pomona. I've heard I'm psychic, so it has to be true.

And Dr. Holly sounds a lot less intimidating than "Doctor Slice". I think I might run away if I was told that my appointment was with Doctor Slice x_x Also, if you do start to go by that, I recommend NOT making a necklace out of a scalpel or something. I hear it's bad for the patient's heart. Just saying.

Gratz! From what little time I spent with you I just know you will succeed at any endeavor you set you mind to. Good luck with school and with your move.

As a side note, curse you for not choosing to go to Loyola Medical Center!
