I've been informed that we will not have use of the tavern building until 4pm on Saturday, due to some meeting they forgot to mention previously. This won't disrupt the game, other than not being able to congregate in that building.
I'm not sure what this means for food at the event, I'm still talking to folks. In any case, there are places to buy food within a couple miles, and the PC accomodations have a full kitchen.
