Word has spread to Gaden of the discovery of ancient Biata ruins on the northern edge of the Wastes. Despite their distance far to the south of Gaden, new rumors seem to arrive every day speaking of vast riches, long-lost knowledge, and ancient devices of wonderful power hidden within their depths.

A short distance from these ruins exists a trading post and inn known as The Dusty Traveler, the last stop before the unforgiving sands of the Wastes. Seeking to cash in on the region's new-found publicity, the owners of the trading post have organized a market fair, calling for travelers from all regions and offering the inn as a neutral meeting ground for all parties who might stake a claim on the area. Explorers, merchants, and scholars from all across the Sheltered Lands have been trickling into the area for the past several weeks seeking the knowledge and treasure that lie beneath the sands.
 
If you wish, you can claim that your character Disjucted to the Afaji Trading Post, which is closer to The Dusty Traveler, to make the travel time shorter. But it will still be a few days ride even from there.
 
Clarification for those that may not understand.
This game will be:
-Within the Sheltered Lands, which Gaden resides in.
-There will be plot that impacts later events. Also actions taken by PCs, WILL possibly impact later plot decisions. (By the discretion of the full time plot team)
-Your character will have heard some rumors about the discovery of the ruins by now.
-The Ruins lie within the Wastes, which is a Desert like area. Your character, unless for back story reasons, would know this about the Wastes.
