Winter has been harsh for all and it refusing to relinquish it's grip. This time its pointed and guided. People are going hungry, fires barely provide warmth. Everything is Bleak.
No Children have been born since the onset of winter.
Food reserves are running low.
Men who brave the storms are lucky when winter only takes a finger or two.
When the cold claims them, it's not uncomon for the dead to rise.
The roads are untravelable.
Even the waymaker network seems slow to power up for those who know it's secrets.
The trees and birds that should begin to prepare their spring songs, are silent instead.
People are losing hope.
Everything is Bleak
All the while across the mist people have starting to build on top of Stonerest it will be a new shining jewel.
