Greetings Alliancian Oregonians!
For those of you that were there at closing for the last event, we announced the new campaign that we will be starting for Alliance Oregon. This is the initial teaser post for the campaign and will only have information in it that you had previously heard at closing. (Or will it?!)
The Broken Shards will be our twice-yearly low-level campaign taking place in a location completely outside of the lands of Aer’Astria. All characters will be starting at 25 XP and the ruleset will be 2.0. We will not be allowing in any LCO items or Restricted items that are not made within the campaign itself. The primary site (but not the site for the first event) will be Brooks Memorial State Park. The first event will be hosted at Camp Kiwanilong on February 22-24th 2019.
The characters will be starting in the town of “Wagonslist”, which is a town plopped down right on a major trade route between several large cities and the nation’s capital of Rahlaen. There are a large number of travelers moving in and through the town throughout the year, making for a very diverse and metropolitan community with all races present in some form.
You will not be powerful sorcerers with years of experience. You will not be battle hardened soldiers who have stared down dracoliches and lived. You will not be a haughty noble with dozens of people owing you favors. You will be essentially high-powered commoners who are rife for the story telling we want to share! You will be the harbingers of the stories you are about to make within The Broken Shards, not some crazy powerful level 40 character. You. Yes, you.
We will be leaving it open to all of you to come up with more information about the town of Wagonlist including the professions located therein and the demographics of the town itself. We want to include the playership in coming up with the town that they are from, and we look forward to working with you more when the time comes.
