I was just wondering what is the deal with cell phones. I have no intention of going to an event to be on my phone, but I have two children and emergencies happen at home. I don't have to give it up at the door do I? I'll probably have to talk to my kids at night, will I be allowed to do that?

Yes. Just try not to do it right in front of people. You can do it in your cabin too. I usually don't keep mine on me, I did when my wife was pregnant and when my daughter was a new born.

Hey JP,
While we do discourage the use of cellphones in in-game areas, a lot of us are parents and are fully aware of needs. Your best bet is to speak to the chapter staff where you will be attending, but from a national perspective, so long as it done discreetly and not frequently, we usually don't have an issue with it.
