Everyone if you have time just keep tabs on this and post any major updates for all our safety and if the staff has to make a last minute adjustments they are aware.

If I'm reading the map right, it's in the warning, not the advisory. You have to zoom out to see the distinction. According to this, more then half the state is in the advisory. Firstly, hope everyone in the area is alright and there isn't too much damage. Secondly, hope this won't impact game, but it might.

Circle is where the camp is at. Thanks for the heads up Keith.

Looks like it's down to an Alert with a Red Flag Warning in the area. There may be a Fire Ban for this weekend. We'll want to keep an eye on that.

Woot, Red Flag Warning - might have a fire ban at the camp.

Folks should start looking around for white or yellow solar-powereed strings of lights, ropelight prefferably. Its going to be a very dry summer and I suspect fires may end up banned a lot because it. But, as a replacement when the real thing isnt doiable, just get some big sticks, put your solar lights in a mound in the firepit, tee-pee the sticks, and set up your solar panel- better than nothin anyway. : )

Or if you hunt around, battery-powered is out there too.

According to http://www.coemergency.com/p/fire-bans-danger.html, fire restrictions are set by the local county. In this case that's Teller County, correct? At the moment, they have a note on their front page, http://www.co.teller.co.us/ , that indicates that fire restrictions are in effect and that the rules governing fire restrictions are located at http://www.co.teller.co.us/Sheriff/BurnRestriction.aspx .

I'd guess that there is where to keep an eye out for up-to-date information about fire status.
