Temporary Tattoo ideas?

Does anyone have a good way of "making" temporary tattoos that'll stand up to a normal Nero weekend? I've been debating buying the tattoo paper for inkjet printers where I can print off my own designs. Another idea is, possibly, making stencils and airbrushing it on. Has anyone tried either of these things? Have any suggestions? I was hoping that either Dan or Sarah would be able to advise on what kind of paint they use to airbrush their Sarr makeup and how durable and precise it is.

Thanks all!

We use Ben Nye or Mehron liquid makeup. However, we also combine/thin that so it goes through the airbrush smoothly with LiquiSet mixing liquid. That thins it out nicely, and also gives it extra "stick" for the face. Followed by Final Seal.

If you wanted to do them by hand, you could also just purchase various colored cakes and use liquiset to wet/mix the cake.

Anywhere you have distinguishable hair, however, you'll want to shave. Face it's fine, but if you want to put something on, say, your forearm, the hair's going to get in the way and quickly ruin your design down the road.

Pffft, temporary. Why? Might as well get em done, not like your character will ever die off.....oh, wait, hmmmmm.........

Thanks guys, I might try out the airbrushing and see how clear the design is with stencils. (BTW I've been using sharpie, but it comes off pretty easy and I wanted something a little more "real" looking.) And Jeff, as cool as a "giant sun and elk head tattoo" would be.. I think I'll be going with temporary.. : ) Thanks a bunch, Sarah, for the make up tips.
