To all Atupali Earth Scholars,
As many of you are aware, the Crown and the Atupali have been working together to conduct a Mass Gift of Life Ritual, a replica of the feat accomplished in Linnea decades ago. As such feats necessitate extraordinary effort and unique resources, I come before you now to outline the necessary steps to see this ritual completed successfully.
A Drop of Golden Sun, more commonly described as a Golden Pearl must be acquired and filled with an enormous amount of healing magic. My reports indicate that Court Wizard Anivia the Tempest knows the location of one such pearl. In the original ritual the pearl was infused with the effective healing energy of 25 lesser healing storms [OOG: 2000pts]. This amount of healing will still result in an effective ritual, but will not be totally effective due to the larger area and population affected with undeath. We estimate at least 62.5 lesser healing storms [OOG: 5000pts] will be necessary to completely affect all targets. Additional healing beyond that will have additional effects to heal the land and potentially rejuvenate it.
In order to contain enough earthen magical energy to fully restore all of Passwall, the pearl must be reinforced. To accomplish this, Count Tano has volunteered the seed of the quintessence bloom that recently reached maturity in his private grove. Acquiring this should not only provide enough structure to the pearl, but also provide a small (OOG: 500pts) amount of earthen energy to begin fueling the pearl.
Secondly, the ritual site must be secured. The ritual must take place at the triangulated center of Undead Controlled Territory. While much of this territory has been recovered, this specific location remains unsecured. Soldiers from both Counts Tanno and Tillbane are standing by to assist you in this endeavor.
Finally the ritual itself must be conducted. To begin the ritual the Pearl must be dashed against an Artifact of great Earthen power while both are inside a circle of power. Sir Draco Ardel has graciously offered his own Aegis of Undeath Defiance for this purpose. Unlike normal rituals which require a scroll and components, this ritual will not be limited by such things. Once the ritual begins, the circle of power will become an Open Limited Circle. Spirits of the dead will flock to the area to be collected, returned to the circle, and reformed into living spirits. The individual who returns the spirit to the circle need not be the one to reform the spirit, but once someone has reformed a spirit they will not be able to do so a second time. While the ritual is ongoing there must always be a ritual caster inside the circle conducting the flow of the magic, though this need not be the same person throughout the entirety of the ritual.
Be warned that such powerful Healing magic in one spot is sure to draw the attention of every Undead in Passwall so be prepared to fight.
This is a momentous event for Passwall, and indeed all of Gavaria. The Queen and the future Duke of Passwall will be in your debt.
