[The following is posted on guild halls, tavern boards and common establishments with permission, as well as the following dream realm announcement]

It is with great honor, for a scribe such as myself to not only write down, but state the following new changes that have come to the Earth Guild over the last year. As many of you know, there has been complications in the past, but no longer! The Greater Earth Guild of Terna opens it's doors to those seeking to defend against unjust causes, to research into the formal arts, to heal those too wounded to act and to create and pursuit magical and non-magical concoctions. The Earth Guild of Terna is now split into 4 branches, with each branch being lead by a Grand Master and his or her Apprentice Grand Master. The Grand Masters form the Council, which decides on all major Guild related decisions. It is with great honor, and privilege that I announce the new leadership amongst the Earth Guild, the four Grand Masters:

Grand Master Haven, Counselor of the Formal Research and Development branch
Grand Master Cole, Counselor of the Guardians of the Light branch
Grand Master Willowroot, Counselor of the Healers branch
Grand Master Darrin, Counselor of Potions and Non-magical Pursuits branch

Let us all welcome this new leadership of the Earth Guild!

As such, the following Ranks are now associated within the Earth Guild and examples of their privileges are listed:

Rank 1: Council of Four Grand Masters

These 4 Grand Masters are invested in all major Earth Circles of the Earth Guild. Their council is needed to promote any from Rank 3 into Rank 2. Each may take 1-2 Apprentices to lead their day to day duties.

Rank 2: Apprentice Counselors

Each Grand Master can have up to 2 Apprentice Masters. Essentially they are the voice of the Grand Masters, and have almost equal power to the Grand Masters.

Rank 3: Master

To achieve this rank you must be a Formalist and have done a deed that has a major impact within the region or Guild. They are included in all Guild meetings, have unrestricted access to the libraries, can cast magic in their own limited circles of power and are expected to be invested in one of the circles. Masters may have other apprentices and initiates work for them. To become a Master, you must be sponsored by an Apprentice Counselor, and have the Council of 4's approval.

Rank 4: Journeymen.

A Journeymen is not entitled to be invested in a Greater Circle of Power, however they can request it from the Circle Master of the Region, which for Encampment 42, is Eric Marsters.

Each Region has a Circle Master. The Circle Master doesn't have authority over the other Journeymen, however they do when it comes to the Circle they are a master of. In order to cast ANY formal ritual within Briarpass, approval must be sought by Eric Marsters, who has the authority to grant, and remove access to ritual castings, as well as within the Greater Earth Circle. Journeymen may also come as they go for libraries.

Rank 5: Apprentice

May request supervised library archives and guild houses and limited access to come and go. May ask to be invested in the Greater Earth Circle if sponsor (Journeymen they are under) agrees. Can cast Formal magic with supervision by Circle Master or Sponsor.

Rank 6: Initiate

May request free training in Earth Magic up to 6th circle. They may petition guild for help in matters related to personal and national security.

Letters shall be sent to each current member notifying them of their current rank. All future inquiries into joining the Earth Guild can be requested by your local Circle Master.

May the light shine down upon you, so your knowledge may grow,

Master Mable Sapland, Rank 3 member of the Greater Earth Guild of Terna
