Nyarien,

Your article seems intent on starting yet another war, and you seem to have some trouble telling Vakkar from Vaccarran. The attacks on the Camulans were likely not Vakkar, or if they were they were retribution for attacks on our ships. The Camulans seem to not care if they attack my people or the Corsairs when the ships of either are found.

I will make it simple, if the attackers are using necromancy or fairy magic (what many call celestial magic) they are NOT of the Vakkar. The corsairs have sold their freedom for trinkets and the protection of the Dragon Vaccara, who provides them with tools to increase her hoard. There is perhaps hope of coming to common cause between my people and the Camulans in aid of destroying these necromantic dragon-slaves, but articles in your parchment that cast my people as raiders run the risk of forcing this to become truth.

If there are any who wish to be instructed in the differences between Vakkar and our traitor kinfolk I will be in the village of Fairedale in a week's time. If they will agree to a banner of truce, I invite a Camulan delegation as well.

Mister Dorgun,

I recognize the seriousness of this situation and as a Vakkar yourself, it would be an honor to speak with you in person to learn more. In the article you're referencing, I reported what information I was provided by Camulan and Vakkar ambassadors, but I would very much like to hear your views on the matter.

I will be present in Fairedale to report on the summit and it would be a great privilege to interview you upon these matters.

Thank you for your time,

I will be happy to speak with you, and you show much more bravery than tales tell of those who write for the Times by daring to walk amongst the heroes you write of. We shall share ale and talk of affairs.
