In the dimming hours as the crystalline lamps around them softened within the Cairn. Salutia and her friend Aiko Timberheft both hurriedly set up their new salon and eatery. Other people within the bizarre were doing the same. On the 6th evening around what would have been sunset the “Night market” was had. A time of trade and socializing. Performances, negotiations and fellowship are common occurrences here. It was started as a way to bring everyone together and has become a strong tradition. Merchants often present their finest wares at the market. The best food is sold and some of the rarest goods.
Salutia and Aika hoped their special new tarts in combination with the tea they brew would bring in the weary who would trade with script and goods. If they had the right lighting and maybe catch some weary delvers or wardens looking to relax and meditate this may be a good day.
The Night Market is part of our ongoing events. A time set aside by the citizens of the Cairns to focus on community and trade. We will use this showcase as a way to reinforce immersion and role-play. Special discussions and reveals will be had during this time and players can sell wares and goods in game. Meet with friends, gamble or trade. We know that in a Live Action Role Playing game different parts appeal to different players. We wanted to honor and give opportunity to those that prefer this type of play as well as help those who may not be able to get into every fray or get around as easily as others to have a place they can truly participate in.
We encourage players to bring their own tents and goods. Set up your own salons and places of play. Hours from the night market will be announced and while this will be a stage set for immersion there will be other missions to go on and npcs will be needed to help keep the world alive and real as we can.
