To All Who Raised Arms to Reclaim the Hollow,
Those with a careful eye may have already noticed that the shard of Puriel we summoned one week ago is no longer present in the Hollow's Earth Circle. Per the magic of the summon artifact ritual we used to bring it forth it has, we believe, returned to it's previous owner. We had all hoped it's bond to the Circle would counteract this particular stricture of the ritual but it seems that is not the case. Do not let this dishearten you, nor diminish the great victory we achieved at our last gather. A Lore ritual has already been performed and it has revealed the Circle is not only still pure, but indeed strengthened against the power of Void. Its magic remains rooted deep in the earth, and it is Lord Galloway's learned belief that it is in fact now resistant to the shards of void and the corruption they bring. In short, the Circle is still ours and will remain so.
I encourage you all to instead see in this turn a great opportunity. Rather than being locked forever in the Circle, unable to be put to other use, this shard of Puriel is now free once more. It waits only for us to reclaim it again. Four months ago there were but seven circles left to the people of our realm. By your strength and perseverance now there are nine.
