The owners have expressed an interest in maintaining a larger class of thrown weapon which has a higher base damage at larger sizes (previously Javelins). To support this, the weapon construction guidelines have been changed as follows (and I have updated their corresponding post in this forum). Note that the weapon construction guidelines also already allow thrown weapons to be weighted, albeit not with hard materials (spell packets work very well for larger thrown weapons).
- In the chart for Thrown Weapons , change:
Thrown Weapon - 2 in / 5.1 cm - 40 in / 101.6 cm - 2
to:
Thrown Weapon - 2 in / 5.1 cm - 40 in / 101.6 cm - 2/3*
and add:
* - Thrown Weapons with any single measurement over 24 in / 61 cm should be tagged as a "Heavy Thrown Weapon" and will have a base damage of 3 instead of 2.
- In the chart for Thrown Weapons , change:
Thrown Weapon - 2 in / 5.1 cm - 40 in / 101.6 cm - 2
to:
Thrown Weapon - 2 in / 5.1 cm - 40 in / 101.6 cm - 2/3*
and add:
* - Thrown Weapons with any single measurement over 24 in / 61 cm should be tagged as a "Heavy Thrown Weapon" and will have a base damage of 3 instead of 2.
