thrusting with axes maces?

Heya rules type peoples.

So im going to be constructing some new weapons. The new rules are interesting. But i have a question on thrusting. Many weapons like axes, maces etc
Can i add a thrusting tip to these maybe taper it a bit to look spikey? Or is this generally frowned upon?
 
If it's not a blunt then by the rules you can thrust with it and a tapered thrusting tip should be fine.

I have no problem with thrusting tips coming to a point as long as they have enough foam to compress a good 2 inches. With the 'thin' foam blades now allowed if you make a thrusting tip that sits atop a flat/thin blade it can't be 2' wide anyways without being 'unsafely' fat imho.

It's open for interpretation now and I don't think variously shaped open cell foam even if it comes to a point is going to be any more dangerous than a packet to the eye...

Send me a picture if you are particularly dubious, but I'm inclined to be encouraging rather than otherwise! :thumbsup:
