It seems fate is guiding me to Gianeria, and I expect to arrive in the coming weeks. However, I find myself in the unenviable position of not having a specific place to go. I have little of any value, and was hoping to get in contact with a familiar face who might take me in when I arrive. So to anyone who can help, I thank you in advance.

Maklin, be happy to guide you in and see that you have a place to bunk down. Realize, however, that you're coming back into a war zone. Also, I'm going to have to go check with the LaGreatman to find out what your current status is reguarding that little mishap that occured a few years back. You might still have some community service yet to perform ya know. Good to hear you're not dead though. Any chance you brought Drakk or Varanghi with you? Drakk said he'd try to be along to help with certain problems we were having but I haven't been able to reach Varanghi in quite a while. Just wondering....
 
Well I think any place where there is an inn, and more than a half dozen adventures, technically counts as a war zone, so no problem there. It will feel like home. As for Drakk and Varanghi, no such luck. I actually haven't seen anyone in more than a year. Shortly after the episode that got me the community service, I called in a favor from Mystery, and asked him to send me someplace where I could "get better". I've spent all this time in some forested pocket in the mists that I was unable to escape from, at least until a few months ago. For some reason, I was expelled from the pocket and was wandering the mists until I found this place. I've tried to get back to Astoria but have been unable to get there. Perhaps Mystery shut me out of there as a protective measure. Regardless, I am greatful for your hospitality, and will fully comply with the local authorities in regards to whatever remains of my punishment from my past crimes. See you soon.
