Tournament Announcement

Good people of Ashbury,

This post is to state that the Ducal army unit designated "Vanguard" will be participating in the upcoming tournament.
There had been speculation on our attendance. To assuage any questions please read the following and understand us.

We fight for the people of Trellheim and as such we wear their colors and our successes in the tournament are theirs. For the first time in ages they have a group they point to and say those folks represent us.

For the soldiers whom we bled with, we shall provide entertainment support and representation. Let this be a time of calm for those whom can observe and may our actions lend to their recovery.

All monetary funds gained from tournament prizes will go to rebuilding and fortifying structures as well as supplying needed goods for the citizens of the embattled lands of Trellheim.

We still fight the war. Maintaining a sense of "who we are" and denying the enemy an impact on morale is part of that.

We look forward to our competition and to honorable participation.

The Vanguard along with The defenders of Storms End represented by Darkan Have represented you with honor and in good actions. Donations have been made from the gold prize winnings. The King Himself has offered to donate on behalf of the Vanguard so that we can resupply our troops and better defend you all. Our deepest hope is that you found entertainment, joy and pride in all of our efforts. We do what we do each day for you good people. Thank you all for honoring us with your support.
