This is a request for clarification on how this ritual is supposed to function. At this last event we had both the catalyst and the ritual scroll drop, and as it was being described, questions came up that got contradictory answers. The crux of the issue is as follows:
1. On the scroll, it is listed as "Catalyst Required: Yes"
2. The Target Type for the ritual is "Item [Catalyst]"
3. The first line of text says, "This Ritual allows the Caster to create a Catalyst for any non-NPC only Ritual."
4. At the bottom of the scroll it reads, "This ritual requires 15 reagents and a catalyst listed on the ritual scroll." but then seems to contradict itself as it says, "This ritual does not require a specific catalyst and any existing Catalyst may be used to fulfill this requirement.
Because of these seemingly contradictory pieces of information, we got the following scenarios that cannot all be true:
1. The ritual can be cast with the catalyst from ANY ritual, and does not require another catalyst as the first line says that the ritual creates the catalyst.
2. The ritual can be cast with the catalyst from ANY ritual, and requires another catalyst that is being transformed (to satisfy the "target" portion), meaning that the Transmute Catalyst ritual requires two random rituals to be cast.
3. The ritual requires the specific "Transmute Catalyst" catalyst, and does not require another catalyst.
4. The ritual requires the specific "Transmute Catalyst" catalyst, and requires another catalyst that is being transformed into another catalyst.
Clarification on which of these four scenarios was intended for this ritual is appreciated.
