Upcoming change to GS Ritual Policy

Good afternoon,

The Alliance LARP Seattle Ritual Purchase List (found here: http://www.alliance-seattle.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=6360) will be updated on August 1st to amend the cost of Skill Store ritual scrolls.

It will change from:

Store Ability: 150

to:

Store Ability: 150 for any ability other than Dodge. 300 for any ability, including Dodge.

Please post here if you have questions regarding this upcoming policy change.

This is worded a little funny. Is the intention that dodge costs 300 and everything else costs 150?

The wording is based on the scroll. Basically, for 150 GS today you can buy a scroll which will let you store:

Evade
Parry
Eviscerate
Riposte
X Slay
X Assassinate
Dodge

(maybe 1 or 2 others I can't remember right now)

As of August 1st, for 150 GS you can buy a scroll that would be exactly like today but would say "note: can't be used to store a Dodge", or 300 GS for a scroll that would be exactly like today.

The difference is that you don't spend 300 GS to buy a scroll that will *only* do a Dodge. Maybe you spend 300 GS, but then by the time you go to cast it you realize you really need an Eviscerate. The scroll isn't limited to only Dodge, it just allows Dodge as well as the other options.

Thus the wording.
