Upcoming total solar eclipse

Greetings and Salutations,

I am seeking volunteers to take readings across the whole Myst Sphere of Fortannis in roughly two years. On April 8th, 324 by Prademar's calendar there will be a total solar eclipse. We should have over four minutes totality.

This should allow for more than enough time to observe how stars near the sun are displaced from their normal positions. If you would be interested in helping with this project please send me a message via the Dreaming.

So I really don't know what most of the things you said mean, but I'll help if you need it.
My question is why would the sun displace the stars around it.

Are you ok?
Are you mad at the sun?
How do you get back home?
Is that why you want help staring at the sun in 2 years?
