Extend Battle Magic Duration is defined as being able to extend the effects of Battle Magic with the duration of 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 1 hour, 1 day, and 5 days to 5 days.

Battle Magic in the rulebook is defined as a spell that is not a ritual.

Since the game operates on Effect and Delivery (such as Command effect via a Magic delivery or a Curse effect via Alchemy delivery) system, spells are not defined.

The question is: What are legal targets for the Extend Batte Magic Duration ritual? Is it anything defined in the Earth and Celestial spell column on page 104 of the rulebook? Or perhaps any non-ritual effect defined by certain delivery parameters (Magic, Incant, Arcane, etc)? Or a combination of the two?

Note that Extend Battle Magic Duration, like all other 5-day rituals, now lasts
1 year without an Extension ritual.

Spells are defined as anything cast using the skills Celestial Magic, Earth
Magic, or a ritual effect that duplicates these (for example Spell Store,
Enchant, Channel Spell, or Expanded Enchantment). It does *not* include "Magic"
or "Arcane" delivery effects that do not use the Celestial Magic or Earth Magic
skills as their basis. For instance, a High Magic "Magic Augmentation" spell can
still be affected by an EBMD, but a monster's innate "Magic Paralysis" could
not.
