Wands, from the addendum

From the addendum on Wands: "A dated wand tag will be issued listing the Type of damage the wand can do (Stone, Flame, Ice or Lightning). This tag must be attached to the wand in some manner."

Is the reason for the date that it is intended that the Wand itself (not just its charges) expires at the next Logistics? The later part of the paragraph states that the charges expire, not the wand itself. Is the 2 silver charge thus a cost to craft something as a wand AND charge it, not simply to create an object that has the ability to be charged?

Apologies if I missed other discussion on this.

Wands do not expire only the charges expire. You'll need to recharge your use of wands during each logistics period if you care to do so (A PC does not need a physical wand to get their charges at logistics). The date of a wands creation is for tracking and verifying that your wand was given the seal of approval to enter the game in a similar manner as having your weapons inspected and checked into the game. The 2 silver being spent at logistics is used for the cost of creating a wand.
