Wood burning on character boxes, and leather/wood jewelery, and leather costuming/armor

Hey there LARP community! many of you got to see the wood burned and decorated box in the tavern, and a few of you said you might like to order something, which is AWESOME ^.^
So I figured i'd post these up again, in several of my LARP groups.

Have you ever toyed with the idea of doing a wood burned and stained shield? I've often thought what a really neat showpiece that might be. There are several lightweight brand name plywood variants at big box home stores that make great shields -- I don't know how good the quality needs to be for wood burning. If you get into that, I'd be very interested in seeing some pictures. Thanks for sharing the links!
