workshops at nationals?

No, not forges, I mean teaching stuff.

I would like to know if anyone ever organizes things like "make-up" or "how to build ultra-light weapons"?
 
While that's not a bad idea, as a player I wouldn't want to have to choose between OOG workshops and IG encounters and roleplay. As a staff member, I'm not sure we'd have the staff to run both.
 
Might not be a bad idea for Monday morning.
 
True. Cory I know you can't be there but if you want to organize a few that's fine. We shouldn't run too late in the day though.

I'd be happy to run a workshop of the weapon building kind online before/after National via Google+ or Skype if there was some interest, especially now that we've got a new chapter that's so isolated from the rest of the Alliance, it might be useful. (I'd bet that most chapters could put this sort of thing together with their 'local weapon guy,' but if you're brand new you might not have 'that guy,' so I'd be happy to sub in.)

Actually, our plans for that weekend have changed and there will be a small contingent from Calgary flying down. :shock:
