Um, is anyone dere?

Can someone hear me?

If you can, please come help us!

Dere’s a great big snappin’ turtle dat popped up in da Wilds a few weeks ago, and it’s hungry, and I don't know what it has against us, but it likes ta eat us! We’ve done everydin’ we can ta stop it, but da shell is super tough and stops like everydin’! We can try ta hide from it, but it’s got a good nose or someding ‘cause it keeps finding us, sneakin’ up and trying to munch us! Da turtle munched on four of us already, dough only dree came back in da circle… I’m scared, and my brodders and sisters and friends are scared, too.

Please come help! We’ll try ta keep fendin’ it off and hidin’ from it da best we can, but I dunno how much more we can really do… I dink it’s learnin’ where we like ta run and hide.

Have you any talented Earth Mages among you? In my experience, when something has a hard shell that seems too hard for any harm to come to the creature, a Destruction Spell opens it up for the warriors to crack open it's soft innards.

In the case that you don't, I'd suggest you leave the area for the time being to ensure your safety.

I dink dat my sister Lacey tried to destruction it, but I dink da shell protected it. Den she tried to destroy da shell, but dat didn't seem ta work either. Den da turtle was all super mad at Lacey, so it smacked her down and munched her up. She came back in da circle, dough she's super scared of gettin' munched again and won't go anywhere near da turtle ta try anyding else, but I don't blame her! We do our best ta hold da turtle back, and it hasn't found our home yet, so we still can hide dere to be sorta safe and everyding, but we still gotta go out for food and stuff.

I know dat just runnin' away from da turtle seems like a good idea, but we can’t just abandon our home. Here is where da Sett lives, and if we just run away or hide forever from da turtle, den it is just gonna go after da dryads more, and they're not as good at protectin' demselves as da Sett is. Dat's why I dink we need some help, since if us Sett can't take care of it, den maybe someone else can help stop da turtle from just munchin’ all da folks in da Wilds. Even da hunter tribes! Not even dey deserve to be munched by da big turtle.

I see... I am regrettably not in an area close to the wilds, but I will inform my betters and try to send some aid to you. Hold out for as long as you can, help is on the way.

GRONK ain't been to da Wilds in a while. How long you tink you can hold it off? Not sure how soon I can get dere. What's da Sett?

Da Sett is all da kin dat Momma and my brodders and my sisters takes care of. Da hunter ogre tribes don't like us much for some reason, but ya want ta help, so I guess dey ain't dat bad after all. I can't wait ta meet ya! Are you good at killin' big turtles?

Um, I'm dinkin' dat maybe we can do our best for a couple of weeks, but we'd have ta try ta slim down da amount we go out lookin' for food for us... Dough wit da choice between not eatin' or getting munched by da turtle, I'd choose not eatin' any day, so I guess dis will have ta work. So, if ya could try to come over ta da Wilds before da end of da month maybe to help us stop gettin' munched, dat would be great!

What have I told you about talking to strangers, let alone asking for their help? All they ever do is backstab us and cause trouble, and asking for them to come to us is just like asking the hunters to come after us! They’ll just try to kill us like they always do! We don’t need them; we can take care of this beast without their help!

Dat’s not true and ya know it, Crik! Even you’ve tried everydin’ ya can on da turtle and ya know it didn’ work! Ya might be good enough at what ya do, Crik, but we need people dat know how ta fight big monsters, and dey might be strangers, but I dink dey can help.

I'm sorry to hear of this attack on your kin. As a Dryad, I understand the dangers of being munched on. I will visit the wilds in a few short weeks and aid you. I can't promise I can remove the threat, but I can keep alive those it munches on.

Is da hunter ogres dumb ogres or High Ogres? If dey're High Ogres, you should ask dem and da Dryads to help you fight da turtle instead a just hidin', I'm sure dey can stop fightin' you long enough to fight da big turtle. GRONK'll be dere about da same time as da Dryad guy, da Wilds is a long walk away.

Um, da ogres are hunter ogres, meanin' dat dey are hunters of us... soooooo, I don't dink dat dey're really someone we can ask for help from, and most of da dryads are sleepin' for da winter, and da few dat are still around ta help out aren't really da best at fightin' da big turtle. We got a few good fighters in da Sett, dough, so we'll do our best ta keep da turtle away from our home and da young ones 'til ya manage ta come.

Da general opinion 'round here is dat we're pretty tired of gettin' munched, so dat's good, GRONK.

Are ya a hunter ogre, Violet? I mean, dey usually live togedder in deir tribes, but I guess ya could be a lone one, so I dought I oughta check. I'd hate ta come outta hidin' from da turtle ta meet ya just ta get smacked down and end up in da circle...
