Ohio doesn't have a localized rulebook. All of our LCO rules, the few we have, are listed in our OOG forum and the lore of the land is all on the IG portion of the Ohio website.

Magic Item tax/maintenance is also a bad idea. Keeps the have-nots as have-nots. Unless there wasn't a tax until you had a certain number of rituals or it was an exponential scale. But then we would also have to "lock" the magic item to that person for a logistics period.

This is how it's done in Ohio so Ritualists get consistent work and aren't held by the neck from the component/scroll policy for the event. We also offer some of the more eccentric scrolls on our pick list so your picks don't feel wasted once you feel you have enough combat-centric scrolls or...

Ergo, how armor is pointed also needs an overhaul. Although there are cheap ways to make armor. I helped a friend piece together a chain-vest made only from key rings and clock chain. Took forever over the span of several days but it was worth the result.

That doesn't reward crafters. It necessitates them and punishes ritualists who just got a well-deserved buff. The demand created by your proposal is artificial and obligates at least one PC to fulfill that role. Ritualists were in the same "obligated role" boat a few years ago and now you can...

The problem I see with coin = goblins is that a definitive price has been set on LCO rituals. If the chapter accordingly adjusts the goblin cost of the scrolls for this, s'all cool.

I could also see instead of sums of coin, having items that are inherently valuable (not production) be dropped. EDIT: More often, for places where this type of stuff does drop. I haven't seen any in Ohio.

Since I've started playing, components have more than doubled in price. As a fail-safe, I think, Ohio sells LCO components for 3gold a pop to prevent the price from getting too outrageous. Also handy if you're making an item you'll only use locally and need/want a specific component now.
