Exactly along my price range. Some of the testimonials mention it being able to handle thicker fabrics, like canvas. I always use a leather needle, I believe my motor is just a bit too weak for it. Thanks a ton for the link :)

I like the idea of a long weekend, however due to the fourth I would not be able to make it. Indeed, it is one of the family traditions that hold me back from this one. I know this is a bit further off, but have you thought of the idea of a Labor Day long weekend event?
