I have not seen a flaw in a while....now I am not saying they dont have them anymore but in the last 10 magic items I have found NONE have had flaws....some were necro, but no flaws.

There called "flaws". One such flaw we had required you to "sing"the activate, another was it must be worn on the outside of your clothes, and yet another required you to hop on one leg before you used it.

Wands are nothing more than rocks for casters ( see thread ). It will just be a matter of time before a bunch of high level PC's who are Cel casters start throwing thier wands and crushing the battle field and then there will be a rule change. I have seen MANY rules changed becasue of this and...

Scott, Will the ground at FairPlay be able to support a tent for the event. I know the ground can get very hard in the cold months, and wouldn't want to leave home without a pick axe or something for the ground.

Agreed Scott pvp is almost NEVER 1v1, I know from experience. I dont think we will see the true power of wands until w get a team of high level casters using them. The same went for rocks. The rule on rocks was the same for over a year but had to be changed due to high level fighters...

I was more speaking to the strategy involved of conserving resources, allocating them to which fight/target, etc as far as ease of play. I see a troll as a fighter, I'm thinking sword. I see one as a caster, I'm thinking fire, unless I'm out, then maybe binding, maybe lightning if they don't...

I was talking to my friends last night about wands and the amount of damage a high level caster could do and we came up with this situation: 12 block = 108 packets to throw per reset. 12 + 1 = 13 damage a packet. Here is my situation: We had 3 - 4 high level fighters who used to throw rocks...

Disagree...they were removed because a PC/Team could come in and buy say 40g worth of scrolls give them all to one caster and he had the ability to cast spells as a 60th level character but he was only level 10. :)

Then dont take so many levels of rituals, increase your pyramid or use scrolls. When I was a templar I used to use scrolls all event long....of course HQ did away with scroll shops soon after that...{sigh} :)

When it comes to combat its all just fighters and healers. Look at Black Forest, we are nothing more than fighters and healers who work together towards one goal.....defeating our enemy on the battle field.
