    Winter Costumes

The cloak I bought has arm holes cut in the sides and hemmed. They work amazingly well to keep it out of my way when getting into combat. -Luke

    Blurring the line

Sorry these thoughts aren't well-formed...I tried to get some ideas out between tasks here at work. For me, it's all about encouraging an environment in which not every NPC is expected to be "crunchy". It's Plot's responsibility to send out a variety of combat and non-combat NPCs, and it's the...

    Vampire: the Requiem chat game

My brother and I wanted to make a "next gen" MUD with dynamic/realistic movement, ranged combat, and languages. I'd still be interested in contributing to something like that. -Luke

I don't know if this qualifies as art but...

Yes. More of this, please! Also, I couldn't hear it too well, so lyrics would be awesome! -Luke

    Wylderkin age

Best you could do probably is retire after each event. Your Log team would most likely hate you for it. I like the annual retirement idea, though. -Luke

    Hi! (newbie-ish, greetings and questions!)

Welcome, Matt! Glad to have you with us! I'm not really in charge of anything, but I would say that your "next step" would be to send an e-mail to logistics@alliancesf.net to get you and your wife added to the database. If you have your character concept and some history already, you can send...

    Larpcast - The LARPing podcast

I believe it's mickeyandbill@gmail.com...they mention it at the end of each of their episodes, but I don't have the time to listen to one and figure it out right now  -Luke

    Larpcast - The LARPing podcast

From listening to the Stories episode, you come to find out that Mickey and Bill have somewhere near 30 years of combined LARPing experience not only as players, but as NPCs and Staff members, as well. They are well-versed in multiple LARP systems in distinctly different genres, although they...

I'd hate to be a worry wart but......

Some Logistics folks have a certain day/time each week where they sit down to handle Logistics work, others have a 3-ish-day turn-around. Try looking through the OOG forums for an announcement about how Logistics works locally for TC. Also, TC's chapter e-mails have recently been...

    Ring Mesh Sizing

Or you can order a custom-made chain shirt from your friendly, neighborhood Chainmaille Artist, like me  -Luke

    Stone Elf Emotions

Your local chapter's Plot team should have access to all of the National Race Packets. They may also have a local race packet detailing more of the culture and society of the local population of Stone Elves. I would contact them and express your interest in learning more about the Stone Elves...

    On Armor Locations

Plus stomach. The front of the abdomen is divided into 2 armor locations while the back is one. With 3-point armor just on the upper half of your body, you get 18 points. Add in a 3-point helm and it's 24. -Luke edit: grammar

    Wylderkin age

I think it'd be kind of a split...like I would expect a Tortoise-kin to be long-lived, but probably not as long as a real land Tortoises which live to be about 180-250. Splitting he difference would put them at a max lifespan of around 145. -Luke

    Shield?

That shield sounds fine, as long as the foam on the edges is thick enough and the total size is within regs. With short weapons (like your axes), having them hang by the head on your belt is perfect. For a longsword, as long as it has a crossguard, you can put it in any "standard boffer frog"...
