Feb 4-6 - Weekend "Pests Aside!" Stonehaven is overwhelmed by a renewed push from the Bugs. Have the adventurers found enough allies? Can the Bugs be stopped? What deals are too dark to make? What will the cost of salvation be?

Mar 4-6 -Weekend "War is Fear Cloaked in Courage" As the saying goes, in war there are no unwounded soldiers. Will this hold true as Stonehaven finds itself the only thing standing in the way of the Bugs as they seek Parna for their final purpose.

April 1-3 - Camp Cutter "Cessation of Bedlam: A Night for Laurel Resting"
“Accept the challenges so that you can feel the exhilaration of victory.”
- George S. Patton (1885 -1945)

The denizens of Stonehaven had earned a rest! Come join the Duke for a shared feast on the second night of the fourth month at the Tavern of the Four Winds! Food, wine, merrymaking, stories, and awards will be the order of the night. However, laurels cannot be rested on for too long. There is a lot of work to do to rebuild the town. With the threat of the bugs gone, lesser troubles will be creeping back and who knows what was uncovered in the chaos of war, so Adventures will be encouraged to explore the area with a careful eye and beware of any wandering creatures.

With victory under their belt and unanswered questions looming, one has to wonder… What further indignities were they to be subjected to? And what of the skeletal dragon that had been spoken of? Who will rebuild this empty town? What were those undead in the middle of the night? What diabolical plan would they next have to thwart? What indeed. From what had gone before, it was clear that what was coming was to be no walk in the park.

May 6-8 - Camp Cutter “Winds of Change”
“Life is known only by those who have found a way to be comfortable with change and the unknown. Given the nature of life, there may be no security, but only adventure.”
- Rachel Naomi Remen

With the rank and file of the nobility disrupted not only by the arrest of Duke Propsero Azurius, but also the questions of the other peerage that are travelling to Stonehaven for High Court, it has become difficult not to worry about potential political changes. The denizens of Stonehaven should be prepared to be interviewed by the Paladin Triumvirate. Meanwhile, a truly foul wind finds itself blowing across the Duchy of the Northlands as so called wild magic vortexes spring up at the hint of magic. They are rumored to destroy magic, change magic, and even open up planar gates. With the threat of the bugs well and truly behind us, the more natural threats have taken hold again in the area, however some citizens are reporting strange behavior from the local wildlife— specifically wild boars, wolves, and bears travelling together.

July 1-4 - Long Weekend at Camp Cutter "High Court: A Weekend of Chivalry, Contest, and Complications"
“Nobility is a graceful ornament to the civil order. It is the Corinthian capital of polished society.”
- Edmund Burke (1729 -1797)

“Put more trust in nobility of character than in an oath.”
- Solon (638 BC – 558 BC)

“Real nobility is based on scorn, courage, and profound indifference.”
- Albert Camus (1913 -1916)

“There is nothing noble in being superior to some other person. The true nobility is in being superior to your previous self.”
- Proverb

Heralds throughout Parna are sharing the news that the Sovereign, King Jonah Morganson, has proclaimed that the Summer High Court shall take place in the Barony of Stonehaven. His beautiful wife, our Queen Katherine Morganson, will be in attendance. Duke Propsero Azurius of the Northlands has announced that in honor of the Royal visit a tournament shall be held. The members of the Stonehaven community will need to be shrewd to keep their politics from muddying bigger waters and keep the local threats at bay in order to protect the visiting nobility.

As is tradition, elevations in rank and status will be announced at High Court as will any awards from the Sovereign. Details of the Duke’s tournament will be announced in the coming weeks.
