2023 SEASON OPENER EVENT:
For the past few months, locals from all over the Lands of Mer have been circulating rumors, claiming sightings of a landmass floating in the sky. Those that have seen it note that it’s only there for a few moments, before it morphs into a cloud and fades away. This cloud has no shadow, but faintly bears curiously distinct patterns of line all across it, only notable upon careful examination.
These rumors had been largely disregarded, until Bennington himself caught sight of it.
Snippets of lore from long-gone history began to emerge. Rumors and legends of ancient Elves (as old as the Sylvanborn who built Nelinore), who took to the sky, perhaps even fled, when the Emanation started.
A reward has been offered for any information that will help Bennington sleep at night, as his curiosity has been thoroughly piqued.
