A potionmaker at your (collective) service - taking orders.

Jovunn

Specialist
Good people of Ashbury,

I come to you in dreams bearing only the most pleasant of tidings. Though I've not yet been given the opportunity to be acquainted with your lands, it seems my cousin's and my travels will be leading us to Fairedale within the span of mere weeks. Thus, in my capacity as a potionmaker, I come to you with an offer of some small degree of aid: I have approximately 110 copper's worth of potions to produce prior to my arrival in town and would like to offer my services on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no limit to how many potions any one person may order, so long as they are able and willing to pay the negotiated price. If I am unable to accommodate your order in this first production interim and you still seek my services, I will be more than willing to discuss with you a means to produce what you desire in the succeeding interim.
If interested, please - do not hesitate to contact me with your order or any questions privately. I hope I do not presume too much in saying I hope to be at your most humble service.

-Hamaliel Decarab, potion maker

Squire Ithica,

I will contact you privately to discuss your request.

Squire Ithaca,

If you are looking to spend 10 gold, I can get you 17 of either purify or cure mortals. It looks like the other fellow only had the ability to make 2 of either with out batching. I have a large stock pile, but would have to send my caravan to you because I am not planning on traveling your lands until perhaps September.

Many blessings,
Bob the Blacksmith (and potion maker)

Goodman Bob,

Excuse my ignorance on what you might or mightn't find in good taste. Is it a custom of yours to do business in the business dreams of others?

Young Mistress Gabriel,

I see this more as a post on a tavern wall. As my dreams are private and not privy to others. So when I see a note in the tavern, I just post my note beneath it. This seems far more public than a dream. As I was born Hobling, it is our custom to make sure people get the best deal possible. If you are not offering the best prices or the best wares, then we see it as a duty to do so. The customer makes the choice. Just as if we were sitting side by side in a tavern and you offered a deal that I could do better on, yes I would speak up. Further as the royal trade ambassador, it is my position to increase trade for the Crown of Valdanis and their trade allies in Pessic.

Business does not have feelings.
Many blessings,
Lord Bob

Goodman Bob,

I see that your confusion as to what is advantageous and what is polite extends to the sex of those to whom you speak. Regardless, if you seek to sell your wares in Fairdale and, as you say, wish to "post a note", it would likely seem far more polite to your potential customers if you chose to advertise in your own sphere.

Young Master Gabriel,

I do apologize for the confusion of sex. The only Gabriel I know is a the fairer sex. My "own sphere" is vast as I have a network of fellow craftsmen that take orders for me even in Fairdale. I own multiple wagon trains that work their way across the lands as well as ships. I also intend on making a personal appearance in Fairdale this season, perhaps then we can settle our business differences over a cup of ale. I could sell you some alchemy as well, so that you are well stocked for your customers. Just let me know what you might be needing.

Many blessings and again my apology,
Lord Bob of Valdanis

Lord Bob,

I should not mind meeting you in the coming months, and I understand your confusion. I have met a few Gabrielles in my time, although I assure you that they were far lovelier than I. As for the additional alchemical substances, though my operation is small at the moment, I must, with thanks, decline. Perhaps for the moment we must agree to disagree on our business practices, and we will speak further upon meeting in person.

Health,
Gabriel Decarab

Goodman Grim,

Squire and Commander Ithica has actually done much the opposite of "clearing me out"; he has offered to purchase a laboratory which I may use to increase my productivity. That said, I have already promised my first day's batch of potions to the Squire. As this leaves my funds somewhat depleted, any work I do on the second day of the coming waymeet would require financial aid so I may obtain the ingredients for your order. In return, I would not charge any additional fee for the finished product. If this is palatable to you, feel free to contact me privately so we may discuss the specifics of your order.

In service,
Hamaliel Decarab.
