A thought on the food.

If a PC paid the $5 for the food to be prepared for them at the event, and they didn't like the meal that was being prepared, would they be able to eat a NPC meal instead?

Also if an NPC didn't like a NPC meal that was being prepared would they be allowed to eat what was being prepared for the PCs?

I think it would be great for both the PCs and then NPCs to have a choice between two meals but it could also cause some problems.

Just a though.

Actually, we are looking at the NPC food and the PC food joining forces to reduce kitchen prep times and conflicts within the kitchen for having to make 2 larger services. I would urge Kelly and Marc to plan ntheir menu and publisdh it beforehand so people can decide if they want to participate?

Also I think this was a great deal it was brought up that the price was very low for the shopping people I would agree to pay 8.00 or so. Let us know the cost I am sure others would be willing to pay more for the meals we recived the chicken dinner was worth the 5.00 in itself.

Great job guys! :)

The dinner was a really great atmospheric piece you guys. I liked how simple the meals were because that's how they might have/would have been. I would like to aquire a copy of the Ren. Cook Book from Camlin. Camlin is a Ren. Faire that is not fantasy oriented, but I was at their feast and they had some very tasty things. I think if some other people of NERO had this book they might like to try these recipes as well. This is a mere suggestion on atmosphere. But I will say again the meals were excellent and a surprise all at the same time.

Mark and I were suggesting that tokens be used for the food. Then he doesn't have to worry about a list of names. There would be three different tokens for lunch, dinner, breakfast... and it would also allow you to pass off your token if you can't make it to a meal or simply aren't hungry.

Even if you don't do the group food (I didn't), there is a lot of stuff to be said about IG atmosphere by cooking together. For the most part, the gypsies are always sharing food and cooking for each other. (and baking poisoned cookies is always fun for the whole family, mwhahaha)
