Alliance LARP Wisconsin is a welcoming community, however, as it is a physically demanding game as a soft combat group, an age limit is placed upon our game. This is to limit harm and dangerous situations to young individuals. Any person under the age of 17 that does not have an adult on site with them must have a legal guardian that can pick up the under aged person up from site should a problem arise within an hour of staff contacting the legal guardian for behavioral or medical reasons.
Persons aged 14 and 15 are welcome to participate in our game as a PC or a NPC, with a signed guardian waiver AND with that guardian on site at all times.
Persons of 16 and 17 are welcome to participate in our game as a PC or a NPC, with a signed guardian waiver, however, the guardian is not required to stay on site with the minor.
Persons of any age can choose to either play full combat or “Page”. In Alliance LARP, a “Page” is a person who wears an orange headband that clearly says "PAGE" on it to signal others that the person can not be hit physically by weapons and that individual can not hit others with weapons but can still participate in all other ways. This decision will need to be made before the start of the game and maintained throughout the event unless a medical situation arises during the event causing a person to "Page" for the remainder of the event.
